Enquire About Migration Legal Help on the Gold Coast

MigrationLawyerGoldCoast.com.au is an information and lawyer-enquiry guide, not a law firm. The information provided is general information, not legal advice.

The enquiry route is for contacting an Australian migration lawyer about your migration matter. Sending an enquiry does not lodge a visa application, preserve a deadline or establish a lawyer–client retainer.

Send a short enquiry

Your enquiry is sent to Australian Migration Lawyers. The practice will need to agree any engagement, scope and fees separately.

Name the broad matter and any stated deadline. Do not include passport numbers, payment details, documents or a detailed sensitive history.

Sending this form does not lodge an application, protect a deadline, confirm an appointment or establish a lawyer–client relationship. No response time or free private appointment is promised.

What to include in your enquiry

Keep your enquiry brief and include:

  • Name and contact: your name and preferred email address or phone number.
  • Your role: whether you are the applicant, an employer or someone enquiring on another person’s behalf.
  • Broad matter: for example, a visa application, sponsorship question, refusal or cancellation.
  • Current location: whether the applicant is in Australia or overseas.
  • Current visa and expiry: the visa held and its expiry date, if known. Say if you are unsure.
  • Notice and deadline: if applicable, the notice type, its stated date and any deadline shown on it.
  • Short question: what you would like the lawyer to help clarify.

Do not include passport numbers, payment details or a sensitive, detailed account of your circumstances. An initial enquiry only needs enough information to identify the broad matter and any stated urgency. Do not send documents at this stage.

After making an enquiry

An enquiry asks about obtaining legal help. It is not a visa application, review application or filing with a government agency or tribunal.

Do not assume a lawyer has accepted your matter or is acting for you merely because you have sent an enquiry. Any engagement, scope of work and fees need to be agreed separately. No response time or free private appointment is promised.

Read about migration consultations and check the privacy information before sharing personal information.

If a deadline is approaching

Include the exact deadline stated in your notice and seek legal assistance promptly. Do not wait for an enquiry response on the assumption that your deadline has been protected.
